Hypermaniac Head Size; Which Wigs Fit?

I have a Hypermaniac Renewal Eujquiv and I am having a difficult time fitting her a wig. Right now she's wearing an SD size Luts wig, but she's drowning in it. Does anyone know if Luts' MSD size wig will fit?

TammyTammy, have you tried measuring her head around the widest point? A typical mini-size wig is usually for heads of 7-8" in circumference, and the wigs for the 60cm dolls are usually 9-10". Sometimes you can downsize a too-large wig by tacking some elastic inside the wigcap, too.

The HM heads are a bit smaller than the norm in all sizes. Monique 7-8 was a tight fit. I had a Volks 8-9 that fits really well.

Thanks Rhian and Lolly. I measured her head and it's just under 8.25". I really like the Luts wigs, cause they have the colour and style that I want for her, but the one that she is wearing now is probably a 9-10" size and envelopes her whole head and face if I push it forward and has a "bubble" in the back if I push it back. She currently has two fat rubber bands on her head holding it on.

I find Luts SD wigs don't fit any head except Luts big heads. 8-9 does best with the rest of the companies with SD sizes. I have also found that in general (at least with the sculpts I have) MSD heads are pretty much 7-8. Naturally, that doesn't include Unoa, OrientDoll or other small-headed msds.

I had a Hypermaniac Ishta, and I found that small-medium-sized wigs fit best. Cherishdoll SD-sized wigs fit a bit on the tight side, as do Iplehouse, whereas Luts and Leekeworld were HUGE.

If you want to use a bigger wig with a small-headed doll, not only would I suggest the rubber-band wristlets (which it looks as though you are using), but also Volks Pitatto Wig Stopper (http://store.volksusa.com/matlst0004.html). My girlfriend and I keep this on all of our dolls because it can really help wig-slipping issues.
