Question! Talking to your dolls.

I talk to my dolls all the time. Actually, I talk to lots of inanimate objects.
I think people get weirded out by it because of the dolls human appearance. Everyone talks to at least on inanimate object in their lifetime.

I talk to inanimate things all the time. In fact I've named my truck so that I have a name to yell when he's being stupid. (His name is Simon and he's super adorable <3)

I have had the occasional chat with Lillian. And the occasional argument...she can be, uncooperative sometimes. Though I think I should probably stop complimenting her looks. She already uses them to get out of trouble, I think it's starting to go to her head

Anyway, it seems normal enough. I genuinely believe I'm sane... then again, most crazies do

I do! Not all the time. I believe the more you imagine them interacting with you the more you learn about them the more they develope. I often add disclaimers when other people handle them. And if you have other doll friends we all do it.

When I'm trying to fit a garment in progress or dress a doll and the doll yanks it's arm away, yeah I start talking. Creeped me out the first time, but now I know the string tension on each doll affects the doll's physical behavior and creep friends out. "Look, I know you don't like this shirt, but your favorite one is going in the wash." Start to put the shirt on doll in front of friend, doll yanks arm back from my starting to put sleeve on arm, friend freaks out. Next thing I know, friends are talking to the doll behind my back.

There's nothing wrong with talking to your doll. I talk to her on daily basis, she's a great listener XD When she's out with me to the college cafetaria I somtimes tell her not to stare at people or I tell her to keep her elbows off the table, you should see the looks I get when I do such things. Hilarious!

I don't talk to mine too much, mostly just when I'm putting them to bed(closet) for the night.

I talk to mine all the time. I think its just natural since they have faces, and you have a sort of relationship with them

I talk to myself, I talk to inanimate objects, I dance in my seat at work, I talk to my pets... and I don't give a ____ what it looks like. haha I think it is a very human thing to do. We like to personify things in our life to get connected to them.

I talk to Fox, namely when I cart him out and about. Mal...Mal thinks he's more intelligent than I am, so he doesn't acknowledge me when I talk to him. Snotty bugger.

And then today I figure out why Mal is ignoring me. He was not fond of his lovely auburn wig. Now he's wearing a black one instead, and is much happier. -_-

I can't help but talk to my boys, I did already back when I got my first little Resin Angel, comes all natural to me really. Even at dolly-meets some people will be looking at me all like I've grown a second head or giggling as they find it adorable how I'm talking/arguing/or other with dolls that aren't even mine xD

I talk to mine. But I also talk to animals, bugs, flowers, trees, computers, electronics, and inanimate objects that I bump into. Is there a word for that kind of person XD?
