hello everyone!

i am brand new to this site, and also to bjds. its strange because all my life i have been terrified of dolls, but after see some gorgeous bjd photography on an art site i simply had to have one! my first is a pipos bao i named sun. i also have an order in for an angel of dream doll. i find myself unable to read enough about this hobby, spending hours online researching and looking at pictures. which is so strange coming from someone who is still a bit scared of dolls, but these beautiful ones with the propper proportions dont seem to bother me, but i digress. basically im just saying hello since im new here and i hope to meet some people who share my newfound interest!

Welcome. I also find my self searching and searching countless hours on the net about these dolls and looking at pictures all the time. I am really new to the dolls as well and this site.. My first one should be on his way soon.. I will buy him this week ^.^ and possibly another.

Sounds just lie what many of us did upon entering this world of dolls! Much research and looking at all the pretty pictures!

Hello, hello! I think its supposed to get easier with time, but there is an awful lot to know about this hobby. Fortunately most everyone in it is helpful and informative... and patient. ^^

yes all the info out there is pretty overwhelming! i want to learn it all, hahaha but i know it will take time.

Welcome. When I first got interested in bjd's most of the sites were not in English. It was hard to find out about them and I didn't know anyone who had one. So in coming here, it's nice to chat with people who know all about them.

well i have ordered an angel of dream doll. not super fancy i know but i though it would be a good "first". but ive got at least a month or so before i get her, i am so excited! im really fond of the girl ones i just think theyre so pretty!

yes i agree! ive learned so much just by browsing this forum and everyone seems so friendly and eager to help! i didnt even know they had "doll cons" now i really want to check one out and meet people!
