Reason for being listed:
Scammed countless DoA members out of thousands of dollars by selling dolls/items she did not own or buying items and then doing PayPal chargebacks after the items were shipped. In addition, later scammed a reputable USA ABJD reseller out of over US$4000, as well as a Korean ABJD company. Has not repaid money and is avoiding all attempts to recover it.

Reason for being listed:
Kakyuu masqueraded as a shopping service for many years on DoA and her website. Eventually it came to light that although she purported to sell "FCS" dolls, not all her dolls were legit FCS dolls. On at least several occasions, she bought second-hand dolls off Y!JA in parts (sometimes broken or damaged) and gave them to her customers as "new" FCS dolls. Discrepancies included but were not limited to: expensive Zoukeimura eyes being exchanged for much cheaper ones (passed off as Zoukeimura), faceups being done by less capable non-FCS artists (such as herself), wigs being incorrect to what was ordered (regular off-the-shelf Volks wigs instead of FCS-only ones), body parts being incorrect (ie long legs instead of standard), and/or hands being mysteriously broken.
She has also been known in the past to pass off cheaper 'old resin' dolls as the more expensive 'pure skin', both via her FCS service and via Ebay.
She was also known to paint a badly yellowed white resin doll with a coat of flat white paint in order to conceal his damage for the auction pictures, and the buyer was unaware until she tried to remove his faceup and the entire coat of paint came off, showing his actual resin as being 'butter yellow' underneath.
She had at least twice been known to resell dolls that had been extremely (and poorly) modified without alerting the buyer to any information of the modifications beforehand.
In addition Kakyuu even now resells limited dolls on Ebay for hugely inflated prices - but she has often used pictures stolen directly from auctions on Y!JA (some of them still-current auctions) rather than any pics of her own, and dolls have been known to not turn up in the "mint condition" listed in the auction.
A certain number of people have had positive transactions with her, but if you feel compelled to deal with her, proceed with the utmost of caution.

Reason for being listed:
Repeated bad dealings on DoA and other locations. Worked as a customizer but was frequently incredibly slow with heads and/or would not return them; heads and dolls went missing for months on end, as did Kazakai. Lost many extra items sent to her such as wigs, eyes, clothes, etc. Was known to get extremely rude and verbally abusive if pressed or challenged in any way, and even convince friends to verbally/textually attack customers to get them to back down. Was also very good at befriended people and convincing them that she was their best friend, then coercing them to send her their dolls, and then cutting contact once discussion turned to the dolls being returned to their owners. Also masquerades as a Female-to-Male transexual and often uses this as an angle with which to gain sympathy and leverage. Many doll items have still yet to be returned and charges are currently being pressed against her, but she continues to be abusive and rude. Is banned from most doll forums. As an added note, has also been known to use blood and saliva while painting faceups which is considered unsanitary. Avoid this girl.

Reason for being listed:
While active in a huge amount of transactions on DoA for which she sent payment with cheque (at least $2,000 worth if not more) she closed her bank account and all the cheques bounced. Not all members had been aware they were cheques, or had fully waited for them to clear, and had as such already sent out the paid-for dolls or other items. Many people also got charged fees as a result of the cheques bouncing. Lindsey strung people along for some time, saying that she didn't know what had happened, that she had thought the cheques had cleared before she'd closed her account, that she would pay people back, etc, etc. However when she lost her DoA MarketPlace access she tried to make new accounts to get around it, making moderators suspicious.
She did start to repay some of the money she owed and even allowed another DoA member to hold onto one of the bought dolls until she had paid for it and things seemed okay. However, more transactions began to come to light, naitomeadoll began to make more excuses, and even 'fell ill' and went on an unexpected trip to California. During that time when she was supposedly unable to contact DoA members, she made a Resinality account, and sought Market access while still owing over $700 to DoA members. Further news then came to light that she had hacked a friend's DoA account and was using it to try and buy more very expensive dolls (such as Woosoo and YoSD) and as a result she was banned from DoA. Further it was noted that she apparently handed out PayPal addresses of people other than herself (usually people she owed money to) without mentioning it to either involved parties, meaning those seeking to get refunds might in fact be involving innocent people. Currently she still owes at least over $700. Not one to get into a transaction with under any circumstances.
(Note: The CA location was while she lived with her parents, but she has recently (Nov 07) moved to Chicago. Apparently she has attended meets at both locations.)

Reason for being listed:
Schemer who seemed to be offering free faceup/esthetic services as an excuse to play with people's dolls. Used emotional blackmail both to get parts and to keep them for long periods of time. Would take in dolls and then give them to other people to do the faceups and Esthetics on. (Also used emotional blackmail for this.) Played with, manhandled and injured other people's dolls and misplaced and "lost" countless items. Resold items that came with dolls sent to her. Was known to have stolen doll items at several meets (as well as bringing customer's dolls to meets) and was banned from attending meets in the local area. Was also said to be a drama queen who threw tantrums if crossed. Absconded with so many doll heads and parts from DoA members that a group of locals visited her home to demand the parts back. These parts were left in a box on the porch; FinFin was never seen again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Reason for being listed:
Davona runs an online webshop reselling ABJDs and is well-known for a whole range of repeated shady business transactions. She is slow to ship, impossible to contact, has been known to take orders for things she doesn't actually order (like take the cash for dolls with faceups then order them blank), and do such dodgy things as offer to sell to a customer a doll that another customer has on layaway, reasoning that she'll have a new one in stock before they pay it off, or refuse to replace a doll even when she shipped the wrong one to a customer. As a result of her consistently bad service, word gets around, and she has had to rename her shop and 'reinvent' herself countless times, hence the myriad of shop-ish usernames. While some will vouch for a positive transaction, look at all the feedback and information and judge for yourself. If you do decide on it, proceed with caution. In the meantime, we'll be avoiding her website.

Has repeatedly tried to sell or trade non-existent or broken dolls via Ebay or DoA. Repeatedly makes excuses for himself regarding either a 10 year old son suffering from cancer or himself suffering from cancer (and requiring "kimo theropy") and talks about friends who must go to the post office on his behalf (but somehow never do). Also never has a working camera. Has scammed at least one user out of an expensive doll via a trade and sold broken dolls as "mint" for much higher values than they are worth. While he has occasionally successfully come through on trades (usually of much lower value items such as wigs) should be avoided. Has been known to use the names and addresses of female friends in other areas of Erie, PA so if your buyer/seller is in Erie, PA at all, proceed with caution.

Was caught attempting to sell dolls that he did not in fact own several times on DoA, and creating multiple accounts to give himself good feedback. He scammed a DoA user out of over 500Euros and a DoD user out of $800. In addition, he was known to scam a large number of Denmark users at Resin Garden forum for a huge variety of items, so many of them that the Denmark users were joining together to file a police report against him. So far, no money or items have been recovered.

Reason for being listed:
After taking many people's money for commissions (roughly $1500+), she continued to put them off and fail to fulfil them while making excuses and repeatedly vanishing from the net for weeks at a time. ("Computer troubles".) After roughly six months she spoke of refunds but said she would have to get a job to repay them. She then vanished again for three months. After being sent a letter threatening legal action, she miraculously reappeared, gave a sob story, and promised to pay 1-2 people back every fortnight with each paycheque. She refused to take out a loan. She supplied one refund and two clothing sets before vanishing again. No further reparations have been made and she has avoided all further contact, even going so far as to delete comments left in her livejournal. Several attempts at legal action were begun but could not be followed through successfully. So far only $27 of the total she owes people has been repayed.

Bev was originally a popular faceup artist in good standing but gradually lost respect in the community by becoming increasingly flaky and taking increasingly long periods of time to return people's heads. After going missing with approximately 10+ heads for several months time, with no means of contact but a disconnected phone line, a group of DoA members attempted to file a police report. Eventually all of the heads were finally returned, but refunds were never given for the faceups not completed, and Bev never contacted any of the members further to explain or make reparations. Current whereabouts unknown.
