Overview
LatiDoll, a Korean company, sells a ranging from extremely tiny with their White line at 9.8 cm to rather tall with their Red line coming in at 63cm. Their site first opened on September 3, 2005. With the exception of two of their Green line dolls Senny and Renia,
Lati's sculptor is Yang Mee-Hee.
Lati also has a comic called Guardian from which they periodically release limited full-set dolls. In addition,
Lati hosts photogenic contests for their dolls, as well as a occasionally releasing an online zine with things like photography tips and patterns for their dolls.
LatiDoll also sells
Peak's Woods and has announced plans to sell Jaime-Doll products in the future. Along with dolls,
Lati sells a limited selection of wigs, shoes and clothing for their own dolls.
Order Options
When ordering basic dolls,
Lati offers a wide variety of options to choose from including resin color and face up. Their basic dolls come assembled with eyes, but if you do not choose their charged options you will not receive a face up, outfit or wig. One may choose between white resin and normal resin with no difference in cost. With the exception of Laches who only comes in tan,
Lati does not offer tan resin as an option.
LatiDoll's charged options include face up, wig and outfit. Each doll comes with a default wig and outfit, which varies from doll to doll, and may optionally be purchased with the doll. In many cases, this is the only way to receive the outfit.
Lati offers two make up options, either their default picture make up or premium make up service. For the premium service, one is allowed to select the style and color of the eyebrow, the color and style of the lower lashes, the color of the cheek blushing, the color of the lips, and, on some sizes, piercings.
White Line
The White line dolls come in two sizes, one is the basic body at 9.8 cm and the sp. body at 12 cm. While the basic white body is genderless, the sp. body comes as either a boy or a girl. In September 2007,
Lati updated the white body in order to allow for better poseability. The basic white body is not available as option parts. White line dolls wear 8 mm eyes.
Currently,
Lati offers six standard head sculpts for the White line:
- Arin: Arin comes as a boy when ordering the sp. body version. According to Lati, Arin is a spirited boy who likes sports and hates onions.
- Belle: Belle comes as a girl when ordering the sp. body version.
- Kong: Kong comes as a boy when ordering the sp. body version. Lati describes Kong as a forest nymph who likes to walk in the woods with his friend Herold the beetle.
- Laches: Laches comes as a boy when ordering the sp. body version. Laches is only available in tan skin and is the exact same sculpt as Pury. Lati describes Laches as a little demon who causes a lot of trouble, but is hard to dislike because he is so cute.
- Lily: Lily comes as a girl when ordering the sp. body version. She is the same sculpt as Pury and Laches, except with human ears.
- Pury: Pury comes as a girl when order the sp. body version. She is only available in white skin and is the same sculpt as Laches. According to LatiDoll, Pury is an angel sent to earth to help children be happy.
Yellow Line
LatiDoll's Yellow line dolls come in two sizes: 16 cm basic size and 20 cm sp. body size. While the basic body is genderless, the sp. body comes as either a boy or a girl. However, the boy Yellows can be changed to girls at no extra charge, but the reverse is not provided as an option by
Lati. In June 2007,
Lati released an updated version of the yellow body which allowed for better poseability and cross-legged sitting. Yellows were 5.5-6 inch wigs and come with 12 mm or 14 mm eyes.
Currently,
Lati sells eleven standard head sculpts for Yellow:
- Benny: Benny defaults as a boy in the sp. body version. LatiDoll describes Benny as a boy who likes candies and playing with sand.
- Coco: Coco comes as a girl in the sp. body version. According to Lati, Coco loves reading in the sun and wishes everyone could be friends together.
- Coco Sleeping: Coco Sleeping comes as a girl in the sp. body version.
- Cookie: Cookie comes as a girl in the sp. body version. LatiDoll describes Cookie as a girl who loves the song of nature.
- Lami: Lami comes as a girl in the sp. body version. According to LatiDoll, Lami is good at studying and sport and would like to become a teacher when she is older.
- Lea: Lea comes as a girl in the sp. body version. According to Lati, Lea hates being second and views Lami as her rival.
- Lea Sleeping: Lea Sleeping comes as a girl in the sp. body version.
- Lumi: Lumi comes as a girl in the sp. body version. According to Lati, Lumi is a girl who loves sparkling jewelry and painting.
- Miel: Miel defaults as a boy in the sp. body version. Lati describes Miel as a boy who sleeps a lot, even while playing with others.
- Miel Sleeping: Miel Sleeping defaults as a boy in the sp. body version.
- Momo: Momo defaults as a boy in the sp. body version. According to LatiDoll, Momo likes flowers.
Orange Line
For a long time,
Lati has had a listing for an Orange line of dolls. Since it falls between the yellows and the greens on the website, many people have guessed that the dolls would be somewhere between those two sizes. However, to date,
Lati has not released any information regarding these dolls.
Green Line
LatiDoll's Green line is 30 cm tall. They are the only line that has not had a revamped body released, but
LatiDoll has announced that they will released a new body sometime early next year. Greens are genderless. They wear 6-7 inch wigs and come with 16 mm eyes.
Currently,
LatiDoll offers five standard Green head molds:
- Grown Up Coco: Coco is the "grown up" version of the Yellow head mold of the same name. Lati states that now that Coco is older, she attends a new school and enjoys accessories.
- Grown Up Lea: Lea is the "grown up" version of the Yellow head mold of the same name. Lati ponders if Lea will mature as she grows up, and notes that she is now friends with Lami and Coco.
- Renia: Renia is sculpted by Lee Kyung-Min. According to Lati, Renia dreams of becoming a writer and likes puppies, but not bugs.
- Ronnie: Ronnie is currently the only Green line doll to come with a boy's school uniform in the basic set. Lati describes Ronnie as a curious boy who stays up late watching television and doesn't like carrots.
- Senny: Senny is sculpted by Lee Kyung-Min.
Blue Line
LatiDoll Blue line girls stand 43 cm tall and are maturely proportioned. In January 2007,
Lati redid the girl body to allow for better standing and posing, as well as more natural lines.
Lati notes that Blue girls are compatible with products created for Unoa.
LatiDoll offers their Blue boys with two body options, both of which are 46 cm tall. The A-type body is more mature and muscular, while the B-type body is more slender. In February 2007,
Lati redid the boy body to include double jointing. Eye sizes vary from 12 mm to 16 mm, but all dolls wear 6-7 inch wigs.
Currently,
Lati offers five standard head molds for Blues:
- Cara: Cara comes as a girl. According to LatiDoll, Cara is an angel sent to earth to discover the true meaning of love.
- Rei Christopher: Rei Christopher comes as a boy. Lati describes Rei as a boy growing up in luxury who formed the band Despina because he thought it looked good. His hobbies include stargazing.
- Rucas (Ryu): Rucas comes as a boy. Rucas is a mysterious boy who, according to LatiDoll, is very skilled with the guitar.
- Shaina: Shaina comes as a girl. Lati describes Shaina as the goddess of beauty who followed her friend Cara to earth.
- Yern: Yern comes as a girl. According to Lati, Yern's necklace broke and so she went down to the human world to look for it.
Red Line
Currently,
LatiDoll only sells boys in the Red line and they stand 63 cm tall. In July 2007,
Lati redid the body in order to include double jointing. They come with 14 mm to 16 mm eyes.
Currently,
LatiDoll sells three standard head molds for Red:
- K: According to LatiDoll, K is the son of diplomats, but was a vampire hunter in another life.
- L
- M: According to LatiDoll, M is an unloved half-breed who was a vampire in another life.
Special Offers and Limited Dolls
LatiDoll periodically closes ordering for various lines to allow themselves to catch up. After the ordering is re-opened, they generally hold events. These events can range from special head parts, body replacement discounts, new default clothing options, or releases of new Limited dolls.

Red-line
Aida - Red-line elf with light, normal skin; included full-set outfit and extra hands
Chaim - Red-line elf with white skin and three eyes; included full-set outfit and extra hands
Adel v. 1.0 - Red-line elf with tan skin; included full-set outfit and was limited to 10; was not sold, but rather given away to some of those who ordered Aida or Chaim
Adel v. 2.0 - The same as the gift Adel. Sold for $890 with the option for different outfits and head-styles
