I am really enjoying the lack of netspeak, and that people actually use grammar and spelling on this board! I still need to do a lot more exploring, but everything seems very user friendly so far. The portal is incredibly useful as well!

I am loving the user groups as they let me zero in on the things I really want to read. I was wondering if there was some way one could display one's user group individual threads on the main page, rather than having to click through a couple of links to get at the subforum?

This is a lovely site -- clean and easy to navigate. I really like the hot-linked terms (I believe you call them "tags" here?). I'm interested in the Wiki, but will have to be patient until I can "go" there.

Just a couple of notes in response to things people have said (and thank you all for the great feedback so far, on all counts!) -- you can still access your post count (or other people's) at any time on the profile page.

Also, you're still able to browse the Wiki at any time regardless of whether or not you can post! Even users not logged in can browse the Wiki. It's meant to be a general resource and we want anyone at all to be able to read it. The only restriction is on who can actually edit it.

In regards to accessing the User Groups on the front page -- we'll definitely look into that, okay? We were trying not to make the front page too cluttered (especially when you have a lot of them!) but I can see why it would be more enjoyable for them to be there. It may be possible to make it a per-user option so I'll see what I can do. (I won't promise anything yet though!)

I'm a big, big fan of the user groups but I also like the tags and the 18+ restriction. And the emoticons are adorable.

Another piece of feedback: I'd just like to say I'm very impressed with the level of dialogue between mods/admins and users. To see that there are community discussions in place to find out what people want before policies are decided upon and implemented makes a very pleasant change, and I want to thank you guys for that

I love everything about this place so far. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly do I love about it. I'm so glad I found this place.

I've been posting on here a couple of days now, but it just recently really hit me how much I really love this place! Eventhough the place is growing, it seems to retaining a level of close-knittedness. Everyone seems really friendly, and I love the 18+ restriction and the usergroups. It really lets you personalize the forum and get to talk to people a lot more closely, because of the specialized interests. And the ability to go OT a bit in conversations and the special OT sections -- it really loosens things up and lets you get to know people even moreso. I'm really enjoying this place so far!

There's so many small details that's so thoughtful! The fact that there's tags, a bjd wiki attached, post counts hidden, usergroups, and an ace layout!

Oh, and how could I forget? The smilies!!! Good grief, they're adorable!!!

I agree. The level of interaction between the members and moderators is very, very refreshing.

I like that this form runs fast. Because it is so different it will take me and some others awhile to learn the format and navigate.

It certainly looks like a lot of thought has really gone in to this Site. I'm settling in and getting used to it.It has a lot going for it, and it's really nice to be asked what we want rather than told what we have to do, and what we are getting and like it!* Thumbs up*

I really like the portal page. It's fun to see so much in one place.

Is there a control somewhere where I can change the YJ display to show the picture thumbnails instead of text though?

I love that we can change the appearance by choosing skins! ^^ I also bow to the home portal, and the questions that you have in the profile page. ^__^ Thank you for making it 18+. I've been lurking here for a day, and I'm an incandescently happy girl.

What I really love about this site is the ability to choose the color layout. It really is a dollfie site when you can customize it just like the dolls. ^^

And freedom! It amazes me that we can talk about any other doll in the OT section. I'm sure everyone else has a second doll passion and it's great to see that it's not just BJD's.
The interaction between the members and the mods is very refreshing to see, it makes this place more intimate and friendly.

Unfortunately, we can't make it show the thumbnails. It's the way that Yahoo Japan gives out the RSS feed for the auctions, that's why they are just text links.

I know, the first time I saw the links, I immediately thought "I want to see the items instead" but alas, we can't get around how Yjapan sends out that feed.
