| 1) The Forum |

This forum is for Asian Ball Jointed Dolls and everything related! Our criteria for on-topic dolls are as follows: 1. Meets the asian 'aesthetic' style in regards to overall appearance 2. Is made of resin 3. Has ball-joints as its main articulation 4. Is strung with elastic 5. Is intended for customization If your doll fits, please feel free to post about it. If it doesn't, please join the OT Dolls User Group and post it there. (Please note that the final decision regarding a doll being on-topic is up to the Admins.) The forum is 18+. Please do not lie about your age to join. If you are suspected of being underage, you will be asked for proof of your age and if you cannot provide it, your account will be suspended. If you suspect someone of being underage, please inform the Admins. |
| 2) Content |

The forum's focus is: maturity, mutual respect, politeness. Please keep in mind when posting. Please do a quick search, and check the FAQ before making your post and make sure that it hasn't been covered elsewhere or answered already. Flaming, insults, and derogatory comments are not welcome and will be removed and result in warnings/suspensions. Bad language has its place but extraneous usage is not encouraged. Some topics (like OT discussion, posting ABJD art, RolePlay) belong in their User Groups only and shouldn't cross over into the main part of the forum. Please utilize the User Groups! Please try to use English in your posts. In particular please avoid NetSpeak. This is confusing for many of our users. Strongly discouraged topics: hate groups (eg Nazis, the KKK), politics, religion. If you really think you can handle it sensitively, try it -- but if it devolves into flames, it will get shut down. Beyond that, all is free game, so long as it is in keeping with the community spirit of this forum. Wank or snark is not the focus of our forum. You would probably find a more receptive audience at Den of Demons. Bumping is discouraged except in the Market, Gallery and for threads promoting or petitioning for User Groups. In these instances please do not bump more than once a day. |
| 3) Gallery |

Photos of a sexual or violent/gory nature are permitted, but we do encourage members to use discretion when posting such images, as not all members may wish to see them. (And many browse from work/college where such things are inappropriate.) Any posts with nudity, erotic/sexual content and gore are required to be labeled as such in the titles. Blatant pornography or fetish/kink sexual themes are probably better suited for Controversial Doll or other like-minded communities, and may be removed at the Admins' discretion. Shota and loli are not allowed and will be removed. Please find other communities to post such content. |
| 4) Market |

The Market requires you to have at least 25 posts and have been a member for 7 days before you can have access. Once you meet these criteria your account will switch over within an hour. Please keep sale related posts to the Market. Self-promotion outside of the Market is against the community spirit and will be removed. In addition, do not spam the forum or individual users. We have zero tolerance for spam. Posting provably false feedback in the Classifieds area will result in a Market ban. This does not mean you cannot post negative feedback for fear it will be refuted - this merely means that if you post feedback for an ad that you were not a part of (buyer or seller), you will have your Market access revoked. The Market does not allow pre-sale of any items not currently in your possession. Please only sell items that you have in your own house. Pre-sale ads will be removed. For the shops and commissions sub-forums, please only bump your own sales threads. 'Friendly' bumps of other people's threads are discouraged. This includes posting pointless 'PMed you!' messages in other people's sale threads - please do not do this. If you are a dealer or representative of another company, you must get mod approval before posting Market threads. Please be aware that repeated bad transactions in the Market will result in your Market access being revoked, temporarily or permanently. Usage of the Market is at your own risk; the forum, its owner and moderators are not responsible for any transactions conducted on the forum. That said, we have zero tolerance for scammers - please report any bad transactions to the moderators immediately so that they can be dealt with! |
| 5) Signatures, Avatars, Profiles |

Animated sigs and avatars are not allowed and you will be asked to remove them. Your maximum sig allowance size is 500x150. Please keep basic good manners in mind when designing your avatar and signature and in filling out your profile; if it is tasteless or pushing the boundaries of acceptability you may be asked to remove it. |
| 6) Your Account |

Multiple accounts are not allowed, unless cleared with the Admins. Using multiple accounts for fraud will result in an instaban. Username changes are allowed if requested, but your previous username will be listed in your profile. |
| 7) The Administrators |
|
A full list of Administrators can be found here. We try to run the forum as fairly as possible. Please treat us with courtesy in return. Please comply with our rules as best you can. We don't want to be issuing suspensions or bans unless we feel that we have no other choice. If an Admin asks you to do something not specifically listed in the rules, please comply with the request. We want to run the forum in a laidback manner and keep the rules minimal; however there are things we feel are in keeping with the "spirit" of the rules rather than the "letter", and we may need to apply this to you if you appear to be breaking it. |
