Faceup Artists and Freckles

Hi, everyone. So I know of other threads that discuss faceup artists, but I wanted to specifically ask about faceup artists that can do freckles and beauty marks. Id like to put together a normal skin or white skin Volks SD13 Boy with ginger-carrot hair and freckles. Lots of freckles. I'd like the work to look as believable as possible without looking too gaudy or amateur.

Does anyone have any recommendations to a faceup artist who can recreate realistic freckles on a doll's faceup? Can they also do body blushing with freckles?

I contacted one faceup artist - Timchener - but she has yet to reply back to me. It's been a few weeks now, so I might as well look around some more. Any recommendations?

I can heartily recommend EngleMech. Gen recently did faceups for two of my dolls, both with freckles, and they're both lovely and natural looking. If you belong to DoA, check out her gallery page for examples - both of my dolls are pictured there. They look even better in real life.

Christy in portland - the one with the awesome bermann Vincente - did my freckly girl Siobhan. I also recommend Gen (engelmech) in general, although the doll I have by her does NOT have freckles. Just saying she's lovely to work with too.

Seconding Christy. A friend of mine (Sigrid) has one of the most beautiful freckled dolls painted by her.

Christy's work is absolutely fabulous. I haven't seen anything as lovely and natural as hers. Kat has done two for me (though not with freckles) I obviously LOVE her work. =)

Lilykoi/enigmadoll on DOA, and Lynr- do fabulous freckles as well.

Lilykoi does really awesome concept dolls as well (though I don't recall seeing her freckled ones, I'm not at all surprised she does them well).

As for recommending - hmm I'm not sure if I 've ever seen her do freckles, but we do all our customs face ups through Tamara/ Thousand Cranes/ Lady Samhainne ( DOA) - and she's not only a pleasure but fabulous with our varied requests. :)
