I'm nikittin there, by the way ;) I enjoy visiting my Friends Page daily and keeping up with friends' dolls. LJ is my favorite way to stay fresh with the ABJD hobby.

You choose your username like you would on a forum, pick a password and whatnot, then once your account is activated, you can go into a user panel and change the way your journal is laid out. A filter is an option on LJ which allows you to place any of your LJ friends into categories of your choice. Some people who have a regular journal, just add a doll filter (or category) for those who specifically wish to view their dolls.

The filter enables those added to view the entries while anyone who isn't placed on the filter, cannot see the entries.

You can create your own filters by going here (http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml). You can add a new 'custom friends group', aka filter, then start adding your LJ friends to it by moving them to the 'in group' panel.
