With the launch of the new Classifieds (sr_classifieds.php) system, with it's automated Feedback feature, this forum is now closed to all new threads. We highly encourage all members to use the new system for their feedback.

Please note that you may still reply to current threads here for transactions that were done prior to the launch of the Classified system! All threads will remain here for viewing and reference purposes.

For those of you running shops, commission-based sales and other related services: Please create a promo ad with a link back to your shop in the classifieds. This way, customers can reference this promo ad in order to leave you feedback in the new system.

As always, please PM a mod if you have any problems or questions!

This is going to sound really stupid, but how do I go about doing that? Do you have any code I can use so it doesn't just look like a jumbled mess, or do you have an example of someone's promo for reference? I appreciate the help!

Hi Shankula,

You can use the same code you use in the rest of the forum to lay out your ad so that it looks good. :) So whatever you use to lay out ads in the normal part of the forum, just apply it to your ads in the Classifieds.

Thanks for the linkage, I'm trying to post in the group order section, but when I click 'submit' nothing happens--and there isn't a preview button either. Is there something wrong with me? I don't mean in general, I know I'm kind of off...but am I doing something wrong? It isn't loading the ad, it is just keeping me on the page, and not even showing the 'hmm, I'm thinking about loading' prompt that I get when posting stuff. I am so confused, I feel like a giant dork.

One last question...since I am an authorized 4D associate (I'm their official group order rep here in the US), should I even post anything besides a feedback prompt in the classified area? I originally posted my ordering information in the shopping service area, since I do a monthly order and didn't want to clutter up the group order area with my numerous posts (instead of editing the post monthly in the shopping service area). Thanks for your help and input, I really do appreciate it.
