Does anyone know that if Poshdolls still exist? I emailed Elaine a few days ago and absolutely no reply. No Ebay results either. I really miss their wigs. :cry

Many thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure I saw some of her auctions a few weeks ago. Perhaps she is on holiday?
I hope she returns. I love her wigs, too!

I was just browsing eBay before logging in to Resinality. Elaine currently has some auctions:

Maybe try contacting her through one of those?
Elaine's the best. Thanks to her my bjds aren't bald and barefoot. :yey

If she is in Korea, it is a thanksgiving holiday there from the 22nd to 26th and nobody is answering anything, from what I understand!

I don't think that Elaine is doing wigs anymore, she told me that there is just too much competition out there. I am sad about that! I just bought some boots from her, though, so she is still out there.

I got the confirmation:

No more fiber wigs. Only Mohair.

Oh, that is sad! Her wigs were always my favorite - well, her's and Acquire's.
I'm glad Seph's still selling!

Oh, that's really sad! I loved Poshdoll wigs. At least she still has the adorable shoes...

Lack of Poshdolls wigs makes me sad. She had the best quality, hands down. My sister and I had a quality show-down between Volks (her favorite, and I'll admit also excellent quality) and Poshdolls. I still though Poshdolls was a bit better, and she couldn't decide.

I liked Poshdolls wigs too, but the two times I tried to buy a wig from her it was out of stock. She seemed to leave things up on her page, even her first sales page where the new stuff usually should be, for months after she'd run out with no plans to restock. After two or three tries and always having what I wanted be "very sorry, out of stock," I just gave up on buying from her. If she'd had the wigs she advertised actually in stock, I would have bought a lot more often.

I did buy from her on eBay a couple of times and that went well. Just the storefront business was flooky.

Sad to hear... I've got a number of Poshdoll wigs. They're great.

Huh, I know she had fiber wigs for tinys on her auctions in the last month. I guess they must have been the last of the batch. Her mohair wigs are very nice, though, I have a few and love them.

I really liked her wigs

Much as I've loved her stuff in the past, one of the two mohairs I got from her was matted to hell when it arrived. :( I'd rather her junk the mohairs and go back to fiber wigs.

Think there'd be any possibility of suggesting such to her? (Going back to fiber)
There were a lot of color combinations available with Poshdoll wigs that I've never seen anywhere else, and I loved the wigs I got from her :/

I don't think it would hurt anything to let her know that we miss her fiber wigs. But the "too much competition" she mentioned might not be with regard to her customers' available options (because she DID have a pretty loyal following over here!) but possibly the manufacturers raised their prices due to demand from many small retailers & then it wasn't feasible for her to sell any more. ? Who knows. I do think I'll drop her a note tonight myself, though! :) COME BACK, POSH WIGS!
