Volks collaboration with Kera magazine at Harajuku store!

The Volks Harajuku store is having a special collaboration with Kera Maniacs and will be showcasing a range of dolls designed in conjunction with Kera magazine and popular clothing labels.

The dolls will be displayed in the Harajuku store from September 12th until September 24th. They will feature outfits from labels such as Black Peace Now, Algonquins, and more!

If you happen to be in the Harajuku area for any reason, definitely do not miss this one! :XD

I seem to remember you can't take photos inside the stores? Perhaps they'd make an exception for special, not-for-sale displays though. (At least it doesn't sound like they're for sale?)

Yes, unfortunately the rule is generally "no photos inside stores". :| But as far as I can tell these are display only.. so maybe they will allow pics? I live in hope! :D

If there was linkage, I would definitely link! And if I find anythng on the Volks site later, I'll add it here. But yes, I found the info in the Volks weekly newsletter -- it wasn't even up the top, but buried in the individual sections that each store has for their own info and pimpage. So maybe it's just a fairly small thing and Volks feel it's not a big enough deal to post on their site? :?

Am I the only one who thinks it is kind of ridiculous to not allow photos inside of a store? Please don't hit me...I say it mostly because I'd LOVE to see pics from this and am disappointed. Bleh.

I bet one of the reasons for the "no photos" rules is that (in the human fashion world) 2 days after the Paris fashion shows, all of the cheaper clothing lines have made similar clothing to sell to their target markets. It's just not that hard to reproduce clothing based on a picture. Volks wants to delay the reproductions until at least September 16th! ;-)
