Face-up Artists?

Hello all! I've been out of the ABJD loop for quite some time. I own one doll, an F-16 which I've had since January 2005 and I think it's time he had a new look. I would like to send him off for a face-up but I don't know where to begin! Who are the popular face-up artists these days that are currently accepting commissions? I live in Japan so I would prefer someone in Asia but really anywhere in the world is fine as well. I am also looking for someone with a soft, natural style--an artist who can paint boys who look like boys. ;)

Sorry if this is in the wrong area but I've been privately asking around and haven't gotten many answers. Thanks for any help or suggestions. :)

I've had 3 heads painted by Phantomdoll and she's really good. But she can be really busy the longest time I waited was 3 months but it was worth it XD!!!

I'm pretty sure ViYa http://www.innerblue.net/ also takes commissions. Her work is stunning in person, but is better if you're going for sweet looks.

Pookie is awesome, fast, and well worth her price. All of her best work I think tends to lean more towards the evil look, though her boys do all look like boys. Just ahh hot, snarky boys.

I contacted Bread a few weeks ago about a possible faceup and she said that it would be next year at the earliest for a new spot :/

I definitely recommend Pookie (whenever her site goes back up); she did a wonderful job on both my Sweet Dream Lucas & Sweet Dream School A. Plus, she's in Tokyo currently. :p

Shuui did my El before I bought him, and he's wonderful. He looks like a boy, and the look is versitle enough he could just be a guy on the street, or an evil necromancer.

Yeah Shuui's work is amazing, but his/her commissions list is full for the rest of the year. :cry Beautiful stuff though--maybe worth the wait? I wish Pookie's site would re-open too. :dead

She takes FOREVER to do commissions and you have to prod her to get communication. She had my head for almost 6 months >.> The work is nice but I really wished I had known it was going to take that long before deciding to go through with the deal.

You beat me to it. Seconded. Tamara does amazing work and she keeps you informed every little step of the way with photos. Three of my dolls have 1000 cranes faceups, and I have one more I need to send soon-ish.

I also recommend Shuui. She does just amazing work, and will listen to your requests no matter how fussy you are :oops. Although I know she's not accepting commissions until next year...but she is definitely worth the wait :)
