I will vouch for Oceanmoon; I have a Shou-Ryu and he truly is lovely! :)

Will his body be available at the end of the year as planned?

EKKK! I just placed an order! Now I'm on the waiting list....Oh wow...this is going to be my very first (well that depends because I also got another one on the way) time handling anything remotely close to a BJD....I'm so happy! Now all I need is a body...Does anyone have a Second hand one that they don't need anymore? (ekk sorry if this is off topic but Volks is draining my wallet faster than I can say BJD...)

Shou-Ryu is beautiful. I met an auction on yahoo one day - the one of the first picture - and gasped. It's not the right time yet, but I would love one at home!

Congratulations, MugenShu! That reminds me of when I bought my Kian. The first time I saw any BJD in person was a poor face-upless little head. :yey

Have you looked into any of the cheaper bodies -- at least for a temp body --- such as Angel of Dream. They are around $250, not bad.

Fantasy Doll has really nice bodies for about $130.

Shou-Ryu is gorgeous, but the first edition is my favorite.

I've seen the Angel of Dream dolls, but I wasn't sure If the skin tones would match up, eppiblack. Also to be honest with you VinylFaerie I have never heard of Fantasy Doll...Who are they and where do they come from? I found a body for my dear Mirgehathen (Formally Shou-Ryu ^_-) off Ebay, but I'm still looking for a body for my Litechquocya (Ricky Fahren) So mabye I'll look into Fantasy Doll....

Oh yeah, My Mirgehathen came on the 24 of September!!!! I'm so happy with him!! I put his arrival pictures on DOA here (http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167038&highlight=Like+a+king+without+his+crown)
Now that I think about, I'll post them on Resinality as well!

I really must say, that's a great mold. I really get a personality there from him.

I used to own a first edition, but I sold it and now have two third edition heads and a close friend of mine owned a second edition for a bit. Not only are they all beautiful their quality is amazing and the resin is a perfect Volks match.

On top of that, I've personally talked to Oceanoom on several occasions while in the process of ordering my new heads. She's absolutely the most friendly person I've ever dealt with in the doll hobby. We talked about our hobbies and why we love dolls.

She also sent went out of her way to send me a special tea from Korea that I'd been wanting with my heads. It was the same blooming flower tea that was sent off to the special auction heads only, but she got some for me anyway.

Anyway, all I have to say is that Oceanmoon has made me love my new boys much more than I could think possible, because she was such an amazing person during my order. I do plan on buying another Oceanmoon doll and depending on future sculpts, I would love to buy more <3

Love the eyes. Very expressive :)

Does anyone have any examples of pics of their own fantasy doll bodies? It seems like a darn low price so I wonder how the quality is. Bendy? Able to stand well? Nice 'skin'? Sure could be an affordable way to have another doll!

I'm considering getting a couple of these (one in white, one in normal), but I've decided to hold off and see what the Hwa-Lan mold looks like when he's done, first.

I just noticed that the production of Hui-Rang has been stopped T____T That's so sad, I was so in love with him! He's the cutest little thing ever and I love his height too.

I'm looking forward to when there's finally a finished smaller doll, though! Also, I can't wait to see Hwa-Lan when he's done.

Wow! Ive seen this boy a very few times in the past, and Im delving out of my Volks territory to try and get him. I just hope he'll still be available a month from now, since I just bought a Volks Amakusa.

Also, since Ive read about Oceanmoons generosity in the past, would she be selling short wigs for boys, like the short brown wig in the second photo? I am very tired of all the shoulder length wigs, and I would rather not cut expensive wigs with my own amateur hands.

Not to get too OT and not speaking for Oceanmoon, of course, but I'm fairly sure that she only deals in the dolls. There are several places that you can get nice, short wigs from, though. My favourite is the Can-can J-series (google it). They're very good quality and are on the generally less-expensive side :3
