Rumour about Volks in Chicago?

So my friend says that volks is opening a store in Chicago soon... I know they have one in LA but I haven't heard any thing to back up her statement. Anybody know anything?

As wonderful as that sounds, its probably not going to happen anytime soon. There was a group working to bring a Volks event to the Chicago area a few years ago but I haven't heard any updates from them in a while.

My friend tends to make up crazy thing though so I wouldn't put too much stock in it. I would love if they did, i know there's dollpas in New York but, I think it's cheaper to go to Chicago for me...

I would like if there was a doll store in general where I live. .. I wouldn't have to rely so much on making my own furniture.. and wouldn't have to deal with shipping on some stuff.

As nice as chicago is, i would think they would open one in NYC before they'd open one in Chicago...Mainly because NYC is where they have a dolpa, not to mention, it's a bit more central to the eastern coast. It would ultimately be nice if they opened one in the midwest somewhere, and one on the east coast. this way, everyone is at least JUST a few states away LOL
