I wish these dolls were not larger than my EIDS...I'm loving him...but don't know if I can manage another size doll at the moment. I do love him though....grrrr....

Thanks Linda for posting that photo. I am trying to decide if I want a bigger doll than the EIDs...I wish they were the same size...though, he's not much bigger...

It started with just a EID/Idealian comparison shot.... then everyone else who had a boy doll joined in. (BTW, I am the person in the back, ready to catch dolls.) It was hysterical. This was the meeting that our server came in when the Idealian was undressed and yelled "I want one!".

I did have Soom Mecha Angels. To me they were tall and rather skinny. Just my opinion.

Is the Idealian noticeably heavier than the EID?
I'm really interested in the differences in the two.
I have to admit I'm sorely tempted by this Photon. The skull head. *grabby hands*
But unless something fantastic happens and I suddenly find myself with a lot of disposable money... :(

I also have to admit that I was hoping for more ruggedly handsome faces like Branon's. Maybe next year they'll do that. :) And maybe I'll have the money then! Wooo! heh

Well, I'm not good at them either, but that hasn't stopped me much! ;)
Plus, you only get better with practice, and you'll never know until you try!
I think for the skull head, a faceup would be a real easy, so if I got him, he'd come without. I do kind of like the human head, but.... not enough to splurge on both. And I'd so be getting him for the skull options.

Hey, ya gotta start somewhere, right? Might as well try with this guy. If you don't like it, wipe, wipe again! :) Frustrating some times, but also fun and fulfilling. ...and saves you a little money...

I do have some heads to practice on...but I'm waiting for my MSC to arrive.

I've never done a faceup, either, but I would like to do some tattoos on my dolls too. (Don't have any myself, but my dolls may.) My question is can you repaint an entire body? I like him, not not in cream white.

The Idealian is not much heavier than an EID.

Faster and more permanent to dye him in RIT dye. It's a tricky business getting just the right shade you want, but yes, it can be done. :)
But yes, with infinite patience, you can repaint an entire body.

Phantom of the Opera was mentioned elsewhere too. :) I like how they finally got back around to their original connection with Der Tod and Das Madchen.

I personally LOVE that skull faceplate - it's about time, IMHO :) ! And I absolutely freaking adore that Idealian body - yummy yum yum! Photon's very sensual, mysterious and beautiful. Oh, if I were a rich man...
