Where to find dark purple/egglplant colored wigs?

DoA is absoloutly useless. I cant access it after midnight and the only time I really have to be on the computer is early morning.

Where can I find wigs in this color? I need 2 eggplant colored wigs, shoulder length, with no bangs. I dont care what its made of really...just as long as it isnt wine colored.

I asked Tinybear about her mohair wigs but she doesnt have any more in the color I want :cry

Who else makes SD sized mohair wigs or just the color Im looking for in general. I dont want to have to cut the wig..It's just not something Im good at and since I have to buy two wigs at the same time, Im not interested in having somebody else do it for me really x_x

If you have suggestions, that would be great. I may just have to buy some wigs, and dye them with manic panic myself....Which I dont want to do either really... :angry

I have a purple (not quite as dark as eggplant, but luscious purple none the less) long straight wig I got from Poshdolls a while back. I'm not sure if they are still doing wig business much, but it's a great wig. Cancan might offer that color as well since she does some other dark colors like green and navy.

I'm not sure about any other mohair makers but I've found mohair takes hair dye fantastically from when I was making Tank Girl's hair "patch". I prefer Special Effects dye over Manic Panic personally and I'm sure there are mohair dyes out there as well.

As GTK said, Kstarr pops immediately to mind :) There's a group order in the DoA marketplace here (http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162112) that's trying to get 60 wigs together - I'm sure they'd appreciate you joining them ^^

Im actually not too fond of the Kstarr wigs...That and I cant navigate their site to save my life. A friend of mine has one and it kills me that they have like, zero part...Ive heard as many things about kstarr to put me off, as I have heard good things.

Ive checked with poshdolls and cancan, and didnt see anything. I'll probably just end up getting some mohair wigs to dye on my own with manic panic, or the Special Effects that was mentioned.

Aquire sounds like what you're looking for. CanCan (http://www.cancan-jseries.net/) also occasionally have dark purple wigs, although it's not an always available colour.

Yes, but I need a wig without bangs. I looked through all of cancan's stuff last night and didnt find anything I could use.

I love Acquire wigs for the fibre, fit and colour. If you end up dyeing wigs,try using Rit fabric dye as it's intended for synthetic and real material. It works well to dye the wigcap (though it tends to be a smidge darker) and sets easily with a little vinegar. Just boil, soak and rinse. I'd worry about human dye running, Manic Panic in particular as most of their lines aren't even intended to be permanent dyes.

This helps us in finding wigs for Matt (Raven Moons Saint) as he has an eggplant coloured Mohair wig and we need to find another wig in case his gets destroyed.

Unfortunately the one we have was made by Tensiya and has since been discontinued. Not to mention the leeke one we had of the same colour is also discontinued. *shakes fist* Why do they do this to us?
