Recently I have been looking at the DOD Too and Bee set as my first BJD purchase. What better way to get started than to buy a set that includes both a boy and girl?

For the longest time I kept returning to the website and looking at the pictures to drool over how adorable they are. Then I hit the next page button and lo and behold, I found that there was a different version of these two gorgeous kids, the Tender version.

I'm finding myself torn between the sweetly innocent faces of the regular version and the more mischievous/mature Tender version.

Has anyone else found themselves in this same predicament when it came to dolls with two different version, especially the DOC version? How did you finally come to the decision on which version to buy?

The more replies the merrier.

Thanks in advance.

I encountered same exact predicament between Sweet Dream School A and just school A.... But I decided to buy sweet dream because it has potential to customize to open eyes. But customizing or making new portion is really hard and almost impossible to match the color tone.

I have actually had a Too and a Tender Too at the same time.
I much prefered Tender Too, as I could get so much more emotion from him.
Hope that helps you a little

Thanks, that does help a lot actually. The eyes on the Tender Too and Bee seem to me to be bit more expressive, while their mouths are more interesting.

I definitely leaning more and more towards the Tender set though once I get them, I think that they're going to be brother and sister, rather than a couple.

I actually wanted to get a tender too and the earlier more innocent bee. I get I like the boys to look a little bad how cliche!
