I received my Andrea model doll from DIM yesterday. I would have posted this sooner but the boyfriend was visiting.

It took approx. 4 weeks from the buy date (June 7th) to the time that I got my shipping notification (July 8th). I requested a faceup for him, which was expected to take an extra 14 days, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got my e-mail from both DIM and Denny Kim (or Danny, rather?-- who I've heard wonderful things about, I believe he's in charge of order fulfillment) that he was on the way. He arrived 3 days later on Saturday, which really surprised me since hardly anything zooms through customs that fast this time of year.

He was very sturdily packed in the box with gratuitous amounts of foam wrap and bubble wrap, with hands and feet wrapped very well. He did not come with a faceplate but was bubblewrapped tightly around the head so there would be no friction even if there was movement in the box.

The faceup is extremely beautiful. there is even a little bit of blushing along the nosebone to give the face more depth. His stringing is perfect, also-- not too loose and not too tight and he stands very well right out of the box.

I'm very satisfied with DIM! I don't have any plans to buy any more dolls in the future but, should that change, I'd be willing to do business with this company again. Smooth sailing, all the way.:yey
