I just got my standard Megu this week. She is perfect except for one small nagging issue. Her wig will not fit her head properly. The wig sits up about a half inch. It looks like it is a bit to small to fit the largest portion of her head. There is no elastic or give in this wig, so short of gluing it down I donft think I will be able to make it sit correctly like this. I think a small slit in the back would allow it to fit, but have not had to do that to any of the others that I own. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to fix it?

Hmmmm...I haven't had to deal with a wig that was too small, but I have dealt with a wig that is too big.

What kind of wig is it? Is it synthetic or is it mohair/natural fiber? If it is a natural fiber that makes up the base, you might be able to wet it and stretch it that way. If not, cut a slight might be a good option. You could always attach a peace of elastic to the slit to ensure it still stay on snugly. You could also try a silicone wig cap or a stretchy wig cap, but if its not fitting on the head, that may not really help you.

That seems a little odd, to me.

I'd be inclined to contact Volks directly with the details of the purchase and ask them about it. It may need to be exchanged.

Definitely contact Volks-there is nothing more annoying than anticipating a new doll and having the wig not fit correctly. Have you tried putting a small bit of moleskin on the head cap? That sometimes helps the wig stay put
