HELP. I have tried - twice - to get the soft eyes to stay in the eyeballs. I used the elastic thread method and the second time I also used two hat pins to make sure the eyes stayed stationary. After the first attempt, I cleaned the inside of the doll head with acetone to get all residue out--I even cleaned the eyes to make sure they were clean. I tried again using GE silicone II 100% silicone sealant clear. At first it appeared to be dry, and I added more to the little spaces I missed and when I got up this am I was so disappointed the eyes didn't set. I pressed a little bit and the eyes just hadn't sealed! What is wrong? Can anyone help me get these eyes put in this doll's head???
