The bodies are a bit odd....(no nipples?)...but I like the petite stature they would provide. I DEFINITELY would like to see the resin color comparatively.

I really like Louis. He's quite slender and small, and I like this intermediate size range, though the body sculpt is odd. I'd very much like to see owner pics.

I do not need to fall in love with a doll this quirky.

I'm kind of surprised at how many people don't like the body... it doesn't look to me like it's any less poseable than any other non-double jointed doll. Aesthetically, at least, it looks similar to AR's Fair bodies, which means a bit scrawny. But by no means unpleasing. :)

I personally am OK with the bodies, I just think that I don't like the ribs much (but that's what a little sandpaper is for, right? ^_~). Other than that, I like that it's smaller than most. I think that slight height difference between dolls can give a lot of extra personality :3

Here, on their website it says:

Glorydoll's all skin(white and normal)is similar with volksdoll's skin.
If glorydoll and volksdoll compare to, glorydoll's normal skin is same almost with volks.
And, white skin of glorydoll is more deep a little bit than volks white skin, and milk color containing rose a very little bit.

Kind of love them. Everytime I see them I am sorely tempted. The faceups are really lovely too, but I wish Lucy in type B makeup would cheer up!

These dolls are beautiful! I love seeing Phantom working with another company on faceups. Louis/Lucy is oddly reminiscent of Siamese and Korat, so I wonder if she had something to do with the sculpting as well? I'm so happy to see a release of smaller SD dolls!

I think I'll email GloryDoll and find out. :D
