Hi all :D
I just got a SD17 boy for my boy. It's quite hard for him to stand,
I've to adjust his leg(yes, his right leg) to a certain pose...
I'm a bit worried since something horrible just happened, luckily it caused no damage this time, to avoid this situation,
:doh can anyone share your experience of posing SD17 ? Thanks !
I recieved an SD17 that had trouble posing a couple months back as well. It might have something to do with a piece in his middle that might have come unglued. If you pull apart his torso pieces and see a smaller piece not attached to anything you might have to glue it back onto the lower torso piece. Also, the legs seem not to stand very well unless on the pieces on the back of the knees, the top of the lower piece has to be underneath the the bottom of the upper piece.
Sorry if this is all a little confusing sounding, but I hope you get him posing well again soon!
There are several locking ridges in the one torso joint of the SD17 body that are there to really help balance him while standing and sitting. I had no idea they were there until the doll doctor showed me, I had taken my friend's Reisner to him to get him restrung since she had been having trouble getting him standing. Turns out we needed to use the ridges to balance him better and now he stands like a rock.

Yuki, you explained the knees part clearly,
the upper piece always goes behind ! :(
I found that making him to sit well is more challenging :o and I don't think he has a bigger left ass :| but that part of joint always comes out.
