Will a Volks pureskin normal head match a DDII vinyl body?

Hi! I'm about to get my first-ever head. As in just a head. I have never purchased a disembodied doll head before, and I've got a question...

Now, way back when, I'd read an article in Haute Doll that led me to believe that the first Dollfie Dream bodies wouldn't match Volks heads, and that some airbrushed color was needed to make that happen. Now that the body's all redesigned and all, I'm guessing from what I've seen of other doll heads on DDII bodies, my educated guess is that it'll be a good match. Is this true?

As for attaching the dang head, I did see the video on YouTube mentioned elsewhere on this forum that shows one how to get their doll's head attached. Are there other methods besides the paperclip/elastic thing? Specifically, I'm planning to put a Volks School C head on a Dollfie Dream body. Am I horribly misguided? Please advise! :cry

I'm not sure what version it is but I believe Nikita's Artemis is on a DD body and it looks perfectly fine from what I saw on her Flickr :D

The other thing that I was wondering about was what all my options are for getting the dang head attached. I'm not sold on the youTube video that I've seen... it made me think that there'd be a lot of slack and not a ton of posability with the elastic-through-arm method. Anyone have any experiences to share?
