I just recieved my Leeke Xmas box via EMS from Korea. I'm in Okinawa, so it got here real quick. My stuff was a mixed bag of "oh that's nice", "oh that's okay I wouldn't have bought it on its own" and "OMG, what were they thinking".
I ordered a double SD13 boy box for $100 USD. Rather than get 2 wigs, eyes etc... They just added extra random stuff, like jewelry. No shoes either -bummer... I was kind of hoping they'd sent 2 of on the wigs and eyes.
Despite ordering a boy-sized box all the stuff inside is very femmy. I don"t know if this is just what they have left over or because I specified 16mm eyes and an 8-9" wig.
Of the stuff I like, the only thing I think Zander will use are the silicon eyes. Rie, my Masha has adopted the knee length blond girl wig. There's a really awesome finger ring, but it's not his style, and a sheer black top and sequined belt.
The bummer was that I was hoping for stuff for Zander... And he's giving me the "Do I look like I go clubbing?" look.
The stuff I don't like consists of: a pair of white skinny jeans with tears and gem-studs (these are strangely reminiscent of all those gemmed cowboy boots Dollheart was giving away in their gift boxes recently, hmmm...). They are beautifully made, just not my kids' style. I did the 80's once as a teenager. The lace see-through vest with rhinestone buttons looks cheap, There's a sheer scarf (just a cut piece of fabric) and a silver rose pin with rhinestone dangles. Studio 54 anyone?
I'll post pics of the loot when I'm not so tired...
