I'm curious. What are everyone's favorite brands for doll clothing, and why? Personally, i'm a sucker for La Parasonel. I like my dolls to dress in styles that are either casual or vintage-y, and their clothes fit my style perfectly. Their casual clothing is stylish, their more fancy clothing often has historical, vintage, lolita and goth aspects without being over the top or costumey looking.

I also really like the couple of SD outfits i have from Amelie Taylor (Sugarmag). I wish she'd do more SD sized clothing! her outfits for Blythe are so diverse and cute, with really well chosen fabrics. I'd like to see her do more casual things for super dollfies.

My dream is to get some outfits from Anotherspace. (not the dollmore colab ones) I like how a lot of her (i'm assuming?) stuff looks so steampunk awesome.

My kids rarely do casual. They like some historical, some fantasy, some goth, some wild and crazy.

I buy quite a lot of DollHeart and Heisejinyao.

Odds and ends from Luts, Dollmore, and some Iplehouse and Souldoll...

And others from independent designers and seamstresses on DoA, ebay and their own websites (Dollovely, Wicked Stitchery, Violetfern, LadyMorghayne/Forest of Avalon, Tous Les Garcons, Tata's Paradise).

I like Cheery Doll a lot. It's well made and they sell a lot of seperates which I often prefer to whole outfits. I also like KK Work Shop for my girls and have picked up some stuff from Dollmore. Dollmore's sheer volume of stuff usually means I can find what I'm looking for.

I make most of my clan's clothes, but most of the stuff I've bought is from either Volks or Dollheart. Most clothing makers don't make the kind of stuff I'm looking for. :)

I like Dollmore not only for their clothes but for their customer service. Being a bit of a blonde(on the inside at least), I managed to put in the wrong shipping info which they changed for me and informed me of politely instead of just leaving it and waiting for it to cause problems like some others might. They're also generous with their free gifts which really puts them high in my ratings.

DollHeart, Dream of Doll,Dollheart, Heisejinyao, Cheery Doll, Ajumapara, Milo and Another Space! To me these companies showcase some of the best outfits for my lovely dollies to wear! From Edgy to Victorian, these are simply just the best companies to me~

If I had to choose only one, it'd be Dollheart. I love their elegant clothes and shoes (and wish they made Hound-sized stuff!)

I'm also fond of Dream of Doll, Heisejinyao, and some of the Luts and 4D clothes as well.

'Much love for Luts, 4D, Iple House and DollHeart over here... Well made items that are generally a good fit for my guys, both in terms of cut and style. I also have a fair few outfits for the the crew from Mini Orient and Kimono Japan.

I am a complete sucker for Mio clothes. She has without a doubt the best fit I have ever seen in doll clothes and amazing fabric choices.

I also really like Ajumapama and Sadol stuff. I love bright, fun trendy clothes and they do a lot of great seperates you can mix and match. The fit on both is also great. I'm a real stickler for fit. I also like the Musedoll clothing I own, but it's very hit and miss. The one hoodie that is supposedly for SD girls fits my MSD boy.

I love Mio and Sadol; their pants are so well fitting and look fabulous. @__@

I'm also a big sucker for some Japanese/Korean designers like Jaggerstone Chic, Rollingdoll, A-life Garden, Anotherspace, etc.

Luts, Dollheart, Heise, and Tonner (because Tonner Tyler and Brenda Starr stuff fits my Sharmin girls perfectly.)

I have not had good experiences with Sugarmag stuff fitting my girls, nor Volks. They run way too big for Luts. (Olivia's default jacket fits my Luts boys perfectly.)

Dollheart, Luts, Cheerydoll, Iplehouse, Dollmore. I haven't bought anything from Mio, but I admire her work. I seriously need to start sewing for my dolls; I could spend a fortune at these places.

That would be the case because the SD16 girl body has broad shoulders the same size as the SD13 boy body. They can actually share tops and pants for the most part. SD16 girls are not the least bit petite like CP girls are.

I love Domuya costumes. They are about the only complete "outfits" I've bought whole and used that way. Red Witch and Soul Catcher are two of my favorites.

I also love the quality of Volks outfits, a couple of my msd boys wear Volks suits.

I second Sadol; they have multiple sizes for their outfits, and really great pricing (once you translate from won -> USD XD) I'm also a big fan of Musedoll; very creative, high-quality stuff that fits Musedolls, DoT girls, and DD!

Dollheart has fantastic looking and well made outfits for a very nice price point. Cheery doll is a little over priced for what you get IMHO. There are many individuals who make fantastic doll clothing and I buy lots that way too.

Of course, I have to add that Volks and Luts clothing is very nice and well made also.

I love the quality of Volks clothes...but also like the Japanese seamstress Ospirit - though I can rarely afford her stuff! Dollheart are wonderful...and I would second comments about Beachgirlnikita, I found her stuff to be really nicely made and finished.

I still like Softly She Walks and Mio...but Mio can be quite difficult to order from due to her popularity!

My clothing purchases seem to be from all ends of the spectrum, but I'd say the top stores I shop (in this order) are: Dollheart, Dream of Doll, Dollmore (partly for their sheer quantity), Iplehouse, Anotherspace, Luts, Volks. My tastes though are mainly fantasy (like final fantasy type style-- ie: DOD's outfits or like DH's cat thief outfit) or punky. In addition, I have a major love for big, chunky, kick-butt boots. :3

I recently have bought some commissioned pieces from aka spooky over at DOA which are very nice and two outfits from Dollzone that have really impressed me for the price.
One of the outfits was a MSD gown with a veiled hat that is just unbelievably detailed with fur on the hem, lace sleeves, satin and brocade fabric etc.

Mio, 4D, Musedoll, (when things are in stock, they haven't had anything lately, and that's dissapointing) and a lot of independent designers including See No Evil and Her Delicate Strength.

I really like Volks, Luts, KK Workshop, and Dollmore for my SD sized children. I will say though that i bought 2 dresses from Cotindoll and they are 2 of my absolute favorites.:D

For my MSD, he has mostly Volks and Friends to Be Made

For my Yo sized girl she mostly wears Effenbee

My tinies get away with Barbie clothing, and Cherishdoll has some cute outfits too (being that my little ones are Cherishdolls)

Hands down, Dollheart has the most awesome shoes. I wish they made them in my size.

I looove the clothes from Glorydoll! Beautiful, antique-style. Yes. I like. I have no idea of the quality of them as I've not actually bought any (ahem-hem!!), but they are kinda pricey ... (not that that always equates with quality, as I'm sure we all know!)

I also like a lot of the boy's clothing from Souldoll. It's just ... like, normal. Y'know?

I'm having a lot of trouble finding clothes for my incoming girl. I've not really seen anything along the lines of what I'd like for her ... I think I might end up commissioning somebody; that'd be really cool ^__^ (I can't sew. At all). (Really).

my favourite companies are Dollmore and (don't laugh) Friends 2B Made! Dollmore has such variety, and F2BM, in addition to being very cheap, fits my skirt-wearing girl and boy quite well- except for the jeans. for shoes and boots, i like Dollheart best.

most of their outfits, however, are created by friends and my SO. since my dolls are DZ and taller than average, the pants in particular need to be specially made.

I love a lot of companies' outfits but have Volks, Dollmore and Dollheart. I find, however, that the best fit for my dolls tends to be Volks or Dollmore.

But, if I'm honest, I'd take a well made outfit created by a talented seamstress over a manufactured outfit any day. Out of my "clothing collection" my favorites tend to be the handcrafted outfits.

I love Dollmore, Luts, and Volks for basics. For fancier stuff, I tend to like Dollheart for my YoSDs, and though I don't own any of their pieces yet, I'm a big fan of Atelier Soda, Arcadia Dolls, and Souldoll. If only Souldoll's pieces didn't sell out so quickly. :(

Other than that, I tend to pick and choose select Volks limited designer outfits or things from Yahoo!Japan.

Zolala! and Swan20 are pretty much the definitive dressers of my Unoas!! I adore them both.

When I got into this hobby in 2006, I use to spend hours looking at the clothes on the Luts site. They had pages and pages of gorgeous and wonderful outfits. And, killer fantasy outfits, too. But of late, that is not the case. (I wonder what happen?)

Now, I shop Dollmore. Dollmore has great basic stuff and you can't beat their free goodies and customer service.

I also love Dollheart.

Dollmore has a wide selection, I just with they had a wide variety since I don't have any goth punk dolls here (well no with a body full time).

Iplehouse has wonderful clothes for outdoorsy types and fun stuff for non goths. And generally well made, we did have a run of bad stuff last year but their regular person was out ill so that may have been the problem, as everything I've gotten since has been in peak condition.

I like Sunny on ebay for sneakers and MSD jeans. A little pricey on the jeans but free shipping.

DollHeart and DollMore are my two favourite places to shop clothing, that is if I don't sit down and make it myself.

I like Dollmore because of their wide selection. Dollheart because of their uniqueness, and Ajumapama because the clothes are awesome.

None yet unfortunately, I like fantasy style clothings for my doll, and there's no shop that specializes in it, yet. Tho if the Old World B&G line actually starts selling clothes separately, they might start to become a favorite for me. :)

I like Dollmore for everyday clothes and SODA for dress stuff. SODA reminds me of of an exclusive store, like Valentino. I have also had good luck on Ebay in finding traditional kimonos and Japanese male outfits.

Miomiomiomiomio and a few brands on Y!J from years ago that I can't rememberrrr anymore. I tend to go for the super fitted stuff like Mio, or the amazing suits like Sadol, or things with flowy, earth toned layers that I can't think of an example for. D: I never buy clothes for my dolls because I am waaay too picky

This is a great thread, so many brand names to look up.
