Who else thinks Volks should have an After Event with the leftovers from the LA Dolpa

So, after hearing that there was quite a lot of various limited items left over from the recent LA Dolpa, I emailed Volks the other day to ask what would happen to it. I got a very nice reply, saying, in essence, "we don't know what to do with it". I wrote back and politely suggested some kind of After Event, either at the store or online or both, and got this very encouraging reply:

It is regret to say that we have no particular
plan for offering the LA Dolpa items at the moment.

But we would like to be able to have such an opportunity
for the future event, which is offering the Dolpa items to
our customers who could not attend the event.

In other words, they seem willing to consider it. Maybe if a few more people got in touch with them and gently suggested that they would also like to see an AE, Volks would go through with it? They've shown themselves very receptive to fan wishes in the past, and if they don't have any particular plans for the stuff right now (except the Yos, of course, they need those for Dolpa 18 ), it couldn't hurt, right? :)

Perhaps now that Dolpa in Japan is over, they could consider holding another Dolpa for the Los Angeles store? Thats an idea (and I still wouldn't be able to attend, darnit! :P)

I doubt they would be willing to hold another Dolpa, as these are huge events and require massive amounts of preparation. Plus, even though there's some stuff left, it probably isn't anywhere near enough to "feed" another full Dolpa. So I really think an After Event, like they have in Japan, is our best bet to see this stuff on the market. ;)

It'd be nice if they had an After Event for the LA Dollpa. I felt bad when I couldn't get some remaining outfits and especially bad knowing someone out there would love to get them, but couldn't make it to the dollpa. Here's to hoping.

It would be really cool if there was an After Event for the LA Dolpa. Like many, there was no hope for me to be able to go the the actual Dolpa, so if there was something I liked, I would have liked some kind of chance to get it (without paying after prices).

I have been looking and looking for one of the SD13 girl Kimonos since the NY Dolpa. I don't know if they sold out but I sure would try to get one if they came up on the Volkausa website.

Haven't they done AE-type things at VolksUSA with leftovers before? I seem to remember one of their seasonal events including leftover LEs from a dolpa that'd been a few months ago... and they've randomly sold off extra YoSDs without needing an event for it before. Also, if I'm not mistaken, though BC Lucas and WC Chris were up on VolksUSA forever, they only started selling them there after an in-store event...

I'd look forward to something happening for Christmas, maybe :3 They're busy with the winter dolpa now, but don't they usually have something for VolksUSA during holidays?

It is seems like they did take some of the left overs and are using them for Dolpa 18 (the 2 yo's). So who knows what they will do with the rest? Maybe sell them at Dolpa 18 or give as gifts? (do they do lotteries there too?)

I would love an AE for the LA Dolpa, too. Those limited wigs were so cool! And of course would love a kimono set and things like that.

Why don't they just put them on the website for general sale and once they are sold out that's that. If you have left over of clothes, wigs, shoes from the Dolpha, I know the dolls are not going to be there incase someone's payment did not go thru....

I think some of the outfits are also being reused for the Tokyo Dolpa, I seem to remember that the two yo outfits are being sold there as well.

It would be nice if they could do some sort of AE.
