Dreams Featuring ABJD

Now I know I'm back in the hobby, without even owning a doll. I dreamed I still did own a doll and I went shopping with him for clothes downtown (which turned into my old small ghost town plaza during the Summer and my sister tried to steal him from me, it was weird)

Which means I'm gonnna have to alleviate my personal drama by buying BF Tommy again. Lol.

I've had couple of dreams about dolls, but two days back I had the best dream. I've been trying to get Migidoll Ryu head feverishly, without a luck and I saw a dream, where there was a huge bowl which was full of Migidoll Ryu heads and I could just take one of the heads for myself from there. And I was so happy in the dream XD Only if it was that easy in real life too.. *Sigh*

Last night I had a dream that I was at a meetup, and my dolls were standing on a table... And some idiot shoved the table and they all fell... and Cecilia's nose got a huge dent in it :tantrum It was a horrible nightmare, and I was devastated... I was so glad when I woke up *shudders*

I had a dream-a few months ago or so-where Superman broke my poor Cecile's nose +___+ and I remember I kept asking him 'you're freaking Superman, surely you got some superglue too!' and he was like 'uh no..' +_+ it was kind of funny thinking about it when I woke up, but at the time I thought it was really scary XD

I've had two memorable dolly dreams lately. ^^;

One was sad - I found my doll Rhunei in a comic book store for sale. (I must have sold him - something I would never do in real life.) When I got him home, I realized he had been modified really horribly - beyond repair. But I could sense it was still him behind the modifications. I was so sad for him - vowing to somehow get him a new head or something. When I went to pick him up, he actually skittered away from me. That was really scary (and I haven't been able to sleep in the same room with him since. I'm going to work on him a little to get over my nervousness.)

The latest dream involved trying to order a Mimimee (something else I haven't thought of doing.) The artist kept emailing me, asking for some of my hair or my personal things. I kept refusing and finally asked him why they needed that.

The artist replied that they were making a new kind of Mimimee - one invested with it's owners Chi.

I sort of freaked out at that and told them I just wanted an ordinary doll. Could they please just make a regular doll for me and hold the chi...?

I woke up laughing about that one.

When I was still saving up for my first doll, I kept having dreams that I had him, and then he'd break. Or like this time I dreamt he was in my b ag, and I took him out and he was all small like a barbie, and then he fell apart - like a barbie. o.o

I ended up getting another doll. :D;;

I often dream of my dolls at night- and everytime i'm waiting for a new dollie to arrive i seem to get really silly nightmares. Like, before Burton (my mod chiwoo) came to live with me, i had this silly nightmare/dream that his face up had been done with a blue pen only- and he had cracks all over his little face...ick! (My Burton has in fact a gorgeous face up done by the talented Morbidollz^^)

I'm currently waiting for me SD Ban head- and the person who's shipping him to me, mentioned that his head is on the small-ish side. So last night i dreamt that i recieved him BUT his head was the size of a barbie doll...oh dear.

A few days before my first doll arrived in the mail I dreamt that she had arrived.. but in an embryonic state. Basically a half developed fetus made of resin complete with little glass eyes behind a thin layer of "skin." :o

Last night I wound up with another colourful one which needs a bit of a back story. I kind of have an issue against changing eyes - I'm not sure why, it just feels like the original eyes are "part of the doll." Try as I might, however, I really don't like my Izzy's light blue ones. So I bought her some brown ones yesterday. Last night I dreamt that her body had turned a dark scratched brown over time, and I wanted to get her a new one.. along with the new eyes.. which lead to my dream self having a vaguely existential debate with her regarding if she'll still be herself if I change every part of her over time. *_*

Also I loved "hold the chi".. hehehe~ :D

Oddly eonugh, the two dream I had that featured abjds, they were not mine. Instead, both times I was at a meetup where I was seeing someone and their dolls whose photostories I regularly read, a different owner both times.

I had what is possibly the *strangest* dream ever last night.

My dream was an episode of The Simpsons and Lisa was on a quest to buy four pairs of SD girl boots for $50.00.

I had a dream where -I- was a BJD, and, um, my owner was Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. How weird is that?

I gotta post on this one...

Let me set this up for you... First of all, I make a lot of clothes, that like, my "job", livelyhood. My only boy (Dante. Luts Moon) has been neglected lately, I have been only making clothes for the girls.
I was at an anime con about a month ago. Some new friends were going to be staying in the room with us. We had nine dollfies sitting out. I mentioned to them, I hope the dolls do not scare them. One girl said "As long as they do not get up".

That night I had my dream, here is what I can remember:

We had left the room to go attend the con, when I realized I forgot something in the room. As I opened the door, the dolls where up and about, some munching on my snacks, others sitting on the bed with the TV on. They instantly dropped down, lifeless, as if I had placed them in these places. I looked at Dante, who was laying flat on the floor, and said "I know you where just moving, so do not just lay there." He sat up and said "Ok, you got me... but would you please change my clothes more often"

Ha ha I love this thread. I know I have had more dreams than this but I woke up this morning dreaming of my future white Sooah's face. That's when I called to put my first down payment on her LOL.:nod:nod

i've had quite a few doll related dreams (and one nightmare...), but recently i dreamed twice that i bought a Yo-SD Piccolo... (all in all, Piccolo was featured in my dreams 3 times... lol). i'm still resisting the Yo tho :)

and this week i had a really weird one, that i got a Yukinojo! 2 of them, actually. (i'm not really a Yukinojo fan...) he was pretty cute tho, with white fur wig and sky blue pupiless eyes, and thinking that the other head is the "normal" form of the same guy, and then i was really disappointed that i only had the head and thought - *sigh* yet another body to buy... oh and i was thinking what to call them and the name that came up was Karas >_>

it's not the first time tho... one time i dreamed i won a set of Yukinojo, Heath and another volks doll i forgot.. lol!

Just after I almost killed Rodion's face-up fixing a nick in his eyebrow, I kept having dreams that I completely wiped his face-up and redid it really badly and felt guilty about it. Luckily I didn't wipe it though ^^

The one dream I have had about my dolls involved Issachar, my CP Yder. I guess I was carrying him somewhere and a person came running by with a glass full of acid. How, I don't know. Besides, what person runs with acid? lol Anyway, it splashed onto Issachar's face and the whole thing melted! His head looked like an old candle. It was terrible. I woke up and put him on my bed lol^^;

I had a dream last night that I was trying to get fuzzies off of Peter's face and accidentally rubbed off some of his lip colour, which suddenly changed to this rainbow colour instead of regular lip colour, but I was convinced that I could fix it.

For the last week or so, I've been having dreams about getting the shipping notice for my doll from DOD, only to wake up and realise that I still had weeks to wait. But, by some awesome miracle I got the REAL shipping notice yesterday!! I was so shocked! They shipped him 2 weeks early! :heart

I had many dreams involving shopping during the week I was stressing about Breakaway LOL In my dreams, one time I was able to buy him and the other time I missed.

But in the "good dream", Johnny Depp was there too. He was buying it for his daughters (it would be way cool if that was true LOL)

I've been planning to buy a big blue Bobobie doll when my income tax refund materializes, but I had a dream involving a very tiny blue doll. When I woke up, I decided that I would probably rather have a tiny doll (big fantasy dolls are not usually my thing), so I ordered a Tinybear Moona instead. It's strange; I dreamed her name and everything.
