I need to get some rules of thumb or pointers on what Volks clothing and accessories will fit my SD13G. Can I use SD shoes? Can I use any of the SD clothes, or do they all need to say SD13G?

I want to try and get an order in before the holiday so my girl can go out in public. Right now she has the slip and panty she came with.

Be wary of clothes that are for SDs or Delfs. SD13 Girls are chunkier than your average SD (especially at the buttocks and hips). Their heads are pretty large, too. Do try to ask the seller if they fit SD13 Girls before you make a purchase, just in case. Shoes for SDs will fit SD13 Girls fine, in most cases.

By the way, which SD13 Girl did you bring home with you?

She is an Elena model. I have not decided on a real name yet. Thank you for the tips. :)

I'm not an expert on clothing direct from Volks, but I do have both SD and SD13 girls.

Generally speaking, the less fitted the clothes, the better they fit both bodies. SD13 bodies have a larger bust and smaller waist, so items that are very fitted or tight around an SD chest won't work so well on an SD13. And pants or other items that needs to be very fitted in the waist will be looser in the waist on an SD13 body. (I'm picky about jeans, so I did make two different patterns that fit slightly differently!)

SD13s are also slightly taller, but with all the leg options now, height and pant length is always chancy. Unless you're super picky about exactly where the pants fall, they should be long enough.

I believe that SD13 flat feet are now the same as SD flat feet. My SD13s are older so they have the "high heeled" feet which still fit in most SD shoes, although sometimes the toes press up against the front of the shoe funny.

But I'll add the caveat that even if the clothes come directly from the factory, you never really know for sure how it'll fit until you try it on. That's one of the reasons I make my own :)

Agreeing with this. SD10 pants may even prevent your girl from sitting altogether. It happened with 3 pairs of SD10 pants I bought at Dollheart (last year's fukubukuro). *_*
