I was wondering, for folks who have been in this hobby longer than I have, how often Dollshe releases a new head/mold?
I read in the FAQ that they've been in business since 2003, so I suppose it would seem like they've already released a lot of them! But are they done now and will stick with their current styles or will there be new faces coming?
Maybe only psychics can answer this one :)

I'd have to throw my vote with the psychics. :D Dollshe doesn't really seem to have any kind of release schedule or regular basis for debuting new dolls...they sort of just appear for sale, or might be prefaced by a brief announcement. It's been a while since a new head mold has been released (I believe the last one was SA Saint version 2?) but that doesn't mean there aren't more coming, if you'll excuse the double negative, and it doesn't seem like they'll be discontinuing any of their current lineup without warning either.

Discontinue?? Gasp! Heaven forbid... Well... They're bringing back the SA Berman for a little while it looks like.... Or is that a new version one? The news article on their site is pretty... Lacking!

Ahh, the fabled last SA Bermann release--the last Bermann release ever, the last eleven dolls. I presume you're talking about the Tensiya site as it's the venue through which Bermanns are released. Nobody knows when that release will occur but Anu...oh, the suspense! XD
On a more serious note, I do believe Dollshe discontinued some of its very first molds that I know absolutely nothing about except what little info there is on Gigglegeek's site here: http://www.gigglegeek.dk/doldollshe.htm I know SA Salubia is available from Tensiya
currently and I think they were supposed to eventually rerelease regular Salubia but so far haven't gotten around to it--and she doesn't appear to be available anywhere else. I also think they discontinued Mai, or at least, I haven't seen her for sale anywhere in years...

It seems like he started with a few limited releases, like Dodosha, before going on to Bermann, who was always meant to be limited.
He doesn't seem to produce new heads on any kind of schedule that I've noticed!
As far as I'm aware, new heads magically appear a day or two after I've utterly run out of money. So I'll keep you posted - should be a new one any day now. ;)

LOL! I think that's how most of the companies work!
And how about that rumored release of newer bodies, or 60cm bodies? That's one company that certainly can keep secrets--

There are rumors of Dollshe 60cm bodies...? I'm doomed.
(And still laughing about Bel's comment. I think they must have watchers on a few of our accounts.)
