Pic threads -- Which would you prefer - duplication or separation?

Since we now have more forums to frequent:

The posting of Gallery threads, or Photostory threads on Ry (here) and on DOA:

Which would people prefer to see happen, as more posts get put up here in those categories? Duplication of DOA threads, so you don't miss something even if you're hanging out here more? Or would duplicates turn you off, and you'd rather see different stuff on either forum?

And photostories (my weakness): Keep an ongoing tale where it was started and developed, or post new chapters in each place? And are inter-forum links considered okay? (Other than to the *explicit* forums!) Or are they the latest digital faux-pas? (I have no idea what the view would be of links pointing here, either.)

Insomnia makes me think of these things (it's either that or watch the cheesy UFO "documentary" on right now).

Probably not surprising to anyone, I'd prefer to see stuff here. This is the only doll forum I visit on a regular basis, not only because I'm a mod :p but because there aren't so many people. Meaning, if I don't check in for a couple days I don't return to a kajillion new posts and having lost track of anything in which I might be interested. The sheer volume of other boards is really overwhelming to me.

I think that it would up to the particular owner what they want to do ^^; For some they have fans and such in both locations (and some of those fans can't come over here yet ^_^)

I've kinda completely switched over here from DoA so if stuff gets posted there I'm gonna miss it, whereas if it is posted here, chances are better I'll see it ^_^ In the end though, it depends on how many people want to make duplicate posts...can always reference it with a "Crossposted to DoA" so for those who get annoyed with repetition can avoid them or something.

That's a good idea. Wonder if it's worth asking someone to create an icon for crossposts, so you don't have to use up a lot of header space.

What explicit forums are you talking about? We're all 18 here so everyone can see Condoll links. :o

Otherwise, I will sometimes post pictures to multiple forums, but I tend to put only a selection of the pictures onto each forum. Den of Demons tends to get the better ones, the Pinky:st forums get the ones with Dorian and the pinkies and Den of Angels gets the rest. :doh
