Everpurple Eyes Reviews and Photos

I'm not a big fan of urethane eyes and rather prefer glass, but I just love everyone's photos of Everpurple eyes -- they seem to photo extremely well and there's such a gorgeous range of colors. :heart

I'd love to hear reviews of the eyes, see photos of them in and out of dolls, and see/read comparisons of Everpurple compared to other glass and urethane brands. I did read these eyes are a bit on the shiny/plastic-y side.

Any comments are very much appreciated by me! :XD

I ordered the #23s in 18mm/9mm pupils.

The eyes themselves were a little smaller than I expected them to be, but fit nicely in my Tae head. Out of the doll, they look a little more plasticky than other urethane brands. They have more of a Regular ED eye feel without the darker ring? The dome are default high? Lighter in feel as well.

In the doll, they have a nice soft look~ I personally like them! Not sure if I'd purchase them in smaller sizes though?

I was wondering...can you request things like no pupils or non-black pupils? I saw in the group order pictures above that there were some without pupils...but they don't have any like that listed on their site. Do they come available from time to time, or can you request?

I can't remember if you can order non-black pupils but you can definitely order no pupils. My friend here and on DoA Kim ordered pupiless eyes (I think 2x now!) from Everpurple. I believe the price is even a little lower if you order non-pupiless eyes.

Everpurple do make non pupil eyes, you just have to request them like you would size or a special pupil colour. Non pupil are also around $4 cheaper than eyes with pupils.

They do look more like plastic and less like glass than some other urethane brands, but they really look great once you put them in the doll and photograph amazingly bright and clear.

This thread is ancient of days, but i'd like to note that yes, you can now order custom color pupils with EverPurple; they cost $6 over the eyes base price per pupil color. (ie: if you ordered both eyes with the same custom color pupil, it would be $6 more: a pair with one eye with a custom pupil, still $6; a pair with two different colored pupils, $12 extra.)


I've also done two more orders with them since this thread was started, so there are lots more photos in the set linked above. They have -really- improved since that first order.
